This is your all-in-one guide for logging in, managing your account, and staying in sync with VersEngin during the Pre-MVP phase. Start with a quick search, or jump to a topic on the left.

1. Login & sign-up

How do I log in to VersEngin?

Go to versengin.com/login. You’ll see a VersEngin-branded login card with two options at the top:

  • Log in — use this if you already have an account.
  • Sign up — use this if you’re joining for the first time.

Then choose one of these:

  • Email + password: enter your email and password and click Log in.
  • Continue with Google: click the Google button and follow the steps.

How do I create a new account?

On versengin.com/login, click the Sign up tab and choose:

  • Email sign-up: enter your email, choose a password, confirm it and click Sign up.
  • Continue with Google: click the Google button and accept the permissions.

After creating your account, we’ll ask you to verify your email before you can fully use your account. You’ll find those details in the Email verification section.

Do I need to pay for an account?

Right now, no. During the Pre-MVP phase, VersEngin is running on a Free Early-Access model so you can join, explore and help us shape the platform without paying anything.

After the Pre-MVP phase, your existing account will stay free by default. You’ll always be able to keep using a free plan if that’s what you prefer. Later on, we’ll introduce paid plans with extra features — but moving to a paid plan will always be your choice, never automatic.

In other words: you can safely join now knowing that your account will remain free, and you’ll only upgrade to a paid plan if and when it makes sense for you.

I tried logging in but nothing happens / I get an error.

Let’s check a few quick things:

  • Email + password: make sure your email has no typos and you’re using the latest password.
  • Google login: confirm you’re using the same Google account you used to sign up.
  • Verification: if you created your account recently, your email may still need to be verified. See Email verification.

2. Email verification

Why do I need to verify my email?

Email verification helps us keep VersEngin safe and gives you better control over your account. It makes sure:

  • The email belongs to you.
  • You can receive important account updates.
  • We can protect your access if something unusual happens.

You’ll only need to verify your email once for each account.

How do I verify my email?

Right after you sign up, we:

  • Send a verification email to the address you used at sign-up.
  • Show a reminder on the sign-up screen letting you know you’re almost in.

To verify your email:

  1. Open your inbox and find the email from VersEngin.
  2. Click the verification button or link inside the email.
  3. Once it’s confirmed, you’ll be able to fully use your account.

I didn’t receive the verification email. What can I do?

Try these steps first:

  • Check your Spam, Promotions or other filtered folders.
  • Make sure the email address you used is spelled correctly.
  • Wait a couple more minutes — sometimes email providers are a bit slow.

Then, on the sign-up screen:

  • Look for the hint that says you’re almost in.
  • Click the Resend verification email option there.

If none of this works, reach out through Still stuck? and tell us which email you used so Hana can help you manually.

3. Password reset

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

You’ve got two ways to start a secure reset:

  • From the login page: go to versengin.com/login and click Forgot your password? under the password field. A secure reset window will appear and guide you through the steps.
  • From your account: if you’re already logged in, go to /account, open Account Settings, go to the Security section and click Password reset. We’ll log you out and send you straight to a dedicated reset screen.

In both cases, you’ll receive a one-time code by email so you can create a new password in a secure window.

The password reset window feels stuck or doesn’t log me in.

Sometimes, after you change your password in the reset window, the final “Log in” button there may feel unresponsive. If that happens:

  • Close the reset window.
  • Go back to versengin.com/login.
  • Log in with your email and your new password.

As long as you finished the reset steps and saw a confirmation, your new password should work.

I didn’t receive the password reset email.

Try the following:

  • Check Spam, Promotions or other filters in your email.
  • Make sure you typed the same email address you used for your VersEngin account.
  • Wait a couple of minutes and request the reset again.

If you still don’t receive anything, head to Still stuck? and tell us which email you tried, so we can help you recover access.

4. Account & preferences

Where can I see or update my account details?

Go to versengin.com/account. There you can see:

  • Your name and display name.
  • Your email.
  • Your current plan (Free during Pre-MVP).
  • Your newsletter and language preferences.

To update profile details like first name, last name, display name, company or role, click Account Settings and use the Profile section.

How do I change my newsletter preference?

On /account you’ll find a Newsletter toggle:

  • Turn it on to receive early updates, behind-the-scenes and experiments.
  • Turn it off to stop receiving newsletters while keeping your account active.

Your choice is saved to your profile and synced with our email system. If your email isn’t verified yet, your newsletter will start once verification is complete.

How do I change the language?

On /account, use the Language dropdown to select:

  • English (EN)
  • Español (ES)
  • Português (PT)

This tells VersEngin which language to prioritise as we expand the experience. Some parts of the site may still appear in English while we’re building out full multi-language support.

How do I log out?

On /account, click Log out. You’ll be signed out of your current session and returned to the main site. You can log back in anytime at versengin.com/login.

5. Early-Access survey

How do I start or continue the Early-Access survey?

To open or continue the survey, you need to be logged in with your VersEngin account. This is how we keep your answers safely linked to your profile and avoid duplicate entries.

Once you’re logged in, you can:

  • Go to /account and click Continue Survey, or
  • Scroll to the survey area on the homepage and click the early-access survey button there.

The survey opens in a dedicated overlay window on top of the page, so you don’t need to follow external links or leave the site.

The survey overlay doesn’t appear. What should I do?

Try these quick checks:

  • Make sure you’re logged in. If you’re not, log in and then try the button again.
  • Refresh the page and click the Continue Survey button once more.
  • Check that you don’t have aggressive pop-up blockers that might interfere with overlays.

If the survey still refuses to open, let us know via Still stuck? and tell us:

  • Which browser you’re using.
  • Whether you’re on desktop or mobile.
  • Where you clicked the survey (from /account or from the homepage).

How do I know if my survey was submitted?

After you finish the survey, you’ll see a confirmation state and we update your VersEngin profile behind the scenes. Over time, we’ll also reflect your survey completion status more clearly inside your account.

6. Delete account

How do I delete my VersEngin account?

You can delete your account directly from /account:

  1. Go to versengin.com/account and click Account Settings.
  2. Open the Security section.
  3. Scroll down to Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE exactly as shown.
  5. Click Delete my account and confirm.

Once confirmed, your VersEngin account will be permanently removed. You can always create a new one later, but the deleted account itself cannot be recovered.

What happens after I delete my account?

When you delete your account:

  • Your access to the VersEngin member area is removed.
  • We disconnect your profile from future early-access experiments.
  • You’ll stop receiving newsletters and product updates tied to that account.

In a future update, we’ll also send a short “goodbye” email so you can share why you’re leaving and how we can improve. For now, if you delete your account and want to give feedback, you can still reach us via Still stuck?.

7. Cookies & consent

Why am I seeing a cookie banner?

VersEngin uses a consent manager to respect your privacy and regional regulations. The banner lets you:

  • Accept or reject analytics and other optional cookies.
  • See more details in our cookie policy.

You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer or legal pages.

Does saying “No” stop everything?

If you turn off analytics and optional cookies, we’ll limit tracking to what’s strictly necessary to make the site work. Some anonymous usage data may still be collected in a minimal way so we can keep the platform secure and functional, but we’ll honor the choices you make in the banner as much as possible.

Because we’re in a Pre-MVP phase and building the platform is our top priority, replies might take up to 72 hours. We’d rather answer slowly but thoughtfully than give you rushed, incomplete guidance.

When you write to us, it really helps if you include:

  • The email you use for your VersEngin account.
  • Which page you were on (/login, /account, homepage, etc.).
  • A short description of what you were trying to do and what happened instead.
